Starmaster Space Education Centre has taken another major step in building Australia’s future space workforce with the launch of its Space Industry Pilot Program (IPP) in collaboration with Lunar Outpost, a globally recognised developer of advanced robotics and lunar mobility systems.
The pilot program is an extension of Starmaster’s commitment to delivering industry-aligned, future-ready microcredentials that address Australia’s real-time space skills gaps. Starmaster currently offers more than 25 microcredential programs, each designed to fast-track learners into space science, engineering and deep-technology roles. Every course is industry-driven and shaped around Australia’s active and emerging space requirements and aligned with national priorities to build Australia’s sovereign capability.
Starmaster’s CEO Bruce Carlos, said the Industry Pilot Program reinforces the organisation’s mission to create direct, meaningful pathways into space careers, particularly for early careers and mature-age professionals wanting to transition into the Space and deep-tech sectors.
“Our vision is to equip Australians with the targeted and specialised skills needed to contribute to ambitious space and deep-tech programs,” Carlos said. “Through industry pilots and structured learning pathways, we are developing a scalable, future-ready workforce that meets the needs of our national space economy.”
