Prerequisites

  • Basic Space Science Knowledge: Familiarity with orbital concepts (LEO, GEO, MEO), satellite types, and launch basics
  • Engineering & Technical Literacy: Ability to interpret technical diagrams, block schematics, and system layouts; understanding of SI units and conversions relevant to aerospace and telecommunications
  • Telecommunications Fundamentals: Awareness of basic RF concepts, frequency spectrum, and signal transmission principles; no advanced telecom background required, but a basic grounding is beneficial
  • Analytical & Computing Skills: Competence in analysing technical data, using spreadsheets or simple modelling tools, and documenting engineering processes
